Extend the life of your American Industrial shell and tube heat exchangers with direct-replacement tube bundles. We supply complete bundles for fixed tube bundle, U-tube, removable straight-tube, and multi-pass designs used in liquid-to-liquid, steam-to-liquid, and severe-duty applications.
• Fixed Tube Bundle – for standard liquid cooling (AA, AB, CS, CK, FBF, CS2000, CS2400-4800 series)
• U-Tube Fixed & Removable – ideal for thermal shock and steam service (UCS, URCS, UCN, UCRN, UCF, URCF series)
• Straight Tube Removable Bundle – for easy cleaning and maintenance (SRCS series)
• High-Capacity & ASME Certified Bundles – for large flow and code-stamped units
Tubes available in copper, 90/10 copper-nickel, admiralty brass, stainless steel, or carbon steel. Tube sheets and baffles are matched to the original design for perfect fit, pressure rating (tubes up to 150 PSI, shell up to 300 PSI), and temperature rating (up to 400°F). ASME code construction is available when required.
Factory-made replacement bundles guarantee exact tube count, length, diameter, baffle spacing, and pass configuration. This restores original heat transfer performance, prevents bypassing, eliminates leaks at the tube sheet, and avoids costly full unit replacement or field fabrication.
Yes. Most American Industrial shell and tube models are designed with replaceable bundles. Replacing only the bundle saves significant cost and downtime while restoring full thermal performance.
Provide the model number, serial number, number of passes (single, two, or four), tube material, and shell diameter/length. A photo of the nameplate or existing bundle is very helpful.
Removable bundles are standard on U-tube (UCS/URCS/UCN) and straight-tube (SRCS) series. Many fixed tube bundle models can also be supplied with removable designs upon request.
Yes. Every replacement bundle is built to the exact original specifications for tube count, baffle spacing, tube pitch, and materials so heat transfer capacity, pressure drop, and flow rates match the original unit.
