Compressed Air Cooling

Aftercoolers are the first line of defense in compressed air quality management, lowering discharge temperature to condense moisture, reduce humidity, protect tools/valves/dryers, and prevent corrosion or freeze damage in pneumatic systems.

  • Air Cooled: Air cooled fin tube aftercoolers eliminate water needs, ideal for remote sites or low-maintenance setups.
  • Water Cooled: Shell & tube units deliver high-efficiency cooling and condensing when cooling water is available.
  • Compressor Aftercoolers: ACA Series handles 60–2150 SCFM, low approach temp, optional bypass.
  • Gas Condensing: ABR Series for compressed air/gas/vapor, 45–3165 SCFM, low pressure drop.
  • Pneumatic Systems: Both ACA and ABR reduce moisture carry-over and protect downstream equipment.

Compressed Air Aftercooler Systems

Aftercoolers are essential for compressed air quality, reducing outlet temperature to condense the majority of water vapor so it can be drained — greatly extending the life of dryers, filters, regulators, valves, and air tools while preventing corrosion and freeze issues.

Air Cooled (ACA Series): — Eliminates water supply, treatment, or discharge needs. Perfect for facilities with water restrictions, remote locations, or where simplicity/low maintenance is key — handles 60–2150 SCFM with low approach temps and optional bypass.

Water Cooled (ABR Series): — Provides excellent heat transfer in a compact footprint for high-duty cycles or when cooling water is readily available — ideal for gas condensing, 2-stage/rotary cooling, up to 3165 SCFM.
